I like this college because this college is small but the faculty is best.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for becoming a software engineer. There is always 1 teacher for every 8 students. The teachers are highly qualified from mtech and having experience of 8 years.In every month we have to give exam of CAs

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is 5 lakh approx and the scholarship that we get is svmcm. We have best financial assistance and 100% placement is there. Highest package is 12lpa and minimum package is 6lpa. Almost every company has come here for hire.

Campus Life

We have many fest in our college and our faculty always organise seminar every month. The classroom is fully digitalized. We have many sports like football, cricket and kabadi. We have robo club, coding club and interview round club

Admission

The eligibility of this course is 60% in 10+2 exam and required wbjee rank and jee mains rank. The reservation is only for west bengal person,over-all the college is best with compact in size. Due to small in size every teacher is focusing on every individual student.

Unbiased Review of JGEC

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
