Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for the CSE course as I have always been fascinated by how the apps or websites that we use daily work or are even made. All faculty members of the college are very cooperative and well-qualified in their respective fields, holding either a Ph.D. or M.Tech degree. For each subject, at least two teachers are assigned.

Placement Experience

In our college students can participate in campus placements from the 6th semester. Companies that offer jobs include TCS, Wipro, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, and others. The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the average package is approximately 4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the 4-year course is INR 499800. Although it is slightly on the higher side, there are several scholarships available, including SVMCM, PMSS, OASIS, and various other private scholarships that offer financial support.

Campus Life

The Bengal Institute of Technology holds two annual events Impulse, a cultural fest attended by students from various colleges, and Bits 2 Bytes, a tech fest that features aeromodelling, remote-controlled drone, and autonomous robotics events. The college also has several clubs, including a coding club, robotics club, and photography club. Additionally, the institute organizes inter-college sports competitions.

Admission

I give WBJEE exam in 2023 and sequered 38582 rank. I got admission in the CSE branch of the Bengal Institute of Technology through WBJEE counseling. The Cutoff for the CSE stream was 237262 for session 2023-27.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
