Course Curriculum Overview

I have a lot of interest in technology so that I choose COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING.. I have also CS in my higher secondary.. it is my favorite subjects as well. . Faculties are really very good and helpful. Each month 1 exam would occur in our bbit.

Placement Experience

There are good placement in BBIT. Infotech , PWC , Amazon, IBM, tech Mahindra etc companies are visiting in bbit. 80% students get placement after getting degrees.. highest package is around 6 lack prr anum.. average package is 4lack per anum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is suitable. Here we have the opportunity to get scholarships like Swami Vivekanada scholarship for west bengal students. I have started internships as well . I there's not any financial assistant..

Campus Life

The college campus is really very beautiful and the college life is same as well . There's availability of books in library and opportunities to play sports .. many social activities are done in bbit and extra curriculur activities are done in soft skill.

Admission

I have passed 12 with Pcm with 85% marks .. My admission process have done by WBJEE entrance examination. I ranked in 39000.. I also have seat on Jee mains . I got 65 percentile there . I took admission on BBIT through wbjee and ir was great process.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. So first talk about the admission procedure : there are two ways to get into this college for btech admission is by JEE and WBJEE entrance exam. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
