Likes

The teachers are good highly educated experienced teacher
Placements are also decent, if you study good we will get placed for sure
College is punctual about its exam, visists

Dislikes

Manangemnet could be better, happenings are lot but they fails at doing
They don't have a complete planning for feeding skills in students
Infrastructure is also not upto the mark

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this because i am interested about technogy and i chose CSE branch as well. Faculty ratio is good, like teachers are very supportive but teachers or professor are mainly from karnataka only.they are highly qualified as much as we can get knowledge from them in a sufficient amount

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 257000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs about 4 lacs per year to me including everything , stay, food , laundry , extras as well cause college fee is about 2.5 lacs and hostel charges about 1 lacs since, some of we got hostel far from college so we it adds up to total 1.24 lacs

Campus Life

Here, this college fails to perform. There is very less number of gest this college helds. Hardly one has took place since i have arrived here Library is good having sufficient amount of books since this college have two campus(north campus and south campus) so the number gets up in say of books

Admission

Eligibilty is just passing the Intermediate. There is a site called Comedk which is the exam name conducted by karnataka government for the students who does not belong to karnataka.apllication fees was 1800 for me when i wass appearing.

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
