What Students Say

Likes

It has an advanced lab for students progressing in coding.
Teachers are well qualified and help the students whatever the problem is .
It provides free wifi facility and campus is well maintained.

Dislikes

It has a specific dress code which is quite disappointing
The schedule is very much hectic and students gets tired very often
It has not much big grounds for sports .

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of the rising and exponential demand of AI and DS. Teachers are highly qualified and are experienced as well. Exams are done on regular basis means in a semester they organise the internal exams 2-3 times so that students are well prepared for University exams and can score better

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't pressurise us during internships program and are very supportive. Seniors are very much helpful and along with college the organise competitions and projects given by the teachers are also very helpful.

Placement Experience

After 4th sem the students are started to prepare for internships and campus placements. Some of the companies are paloalto, Amazon,Microsoft and many more visit the campus. Recently highest package was 58 LPA Around 80 percent of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who can afford around 1.5 lac fees per years should go for this college because the fees definitely is high which majority of the students can't afford Scholarship is provided for UP students, who are domicile of UP .

Campus Life

It does have annual freshers party organised and some special guests and freshers is conducted around November to December. Library is pretty good.Classrooms are good and have projectors . Sports activities are also held on regular intervals . Many of the clubs are also formed from 2nd year

Admission

The admission process was done on jee mains entrance exam followed up by AKTU counselling but not to worry.It does have its own management quota but maximum students comes up with counselling. One can find application form , fees and dates regarding information from the website of GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Technology.Yes it does have reservation benefits but haven't availed it so can't go much deeper.Some of the improvements I want is, firstly it should remove the dress code as it has a dress code and ,secondly 75 percent attendence should be removed.

Placements in my college is good , and tries to place the students as much as possible, the heighest package of my college is 49 lacks per annum. And average package is 6 lacks per annum. Name of the compnies visited- Accenture, Tcs, Delloite etc.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

The admission process in this institute is quite satisfactory, my admission is done here by aktu councelling process which was based on my jee mains performance, in this college maximum seats are alloted through councelling process and few are through management quota, for this one can apply on gl bajaj official website or can contact to college after the councelling process ends because some vacant seats are filled through management quota. As a btech student of gl bajaj I suggest the college to provide some more freedom to students ,especially for 1st year students ,also no. of fests and cultural program should increase and dress code system should be removed bcoz it makes us to feel that we are in school life...
