Course Curriculum Overview

1

i chose his curriculum because it has a mix of both theory and practical work it covers all the core subjects we need and also includes labs, mini project, internship etc which made me feel its good the curriculum does not at all prepares you for real world applications you need to learn skills as you study core subjects and manage college the curriculum is outdated and needs change since new technology like a.i have completely changed the tech world as ii described earlier there are 3 internal exaxms and then final university exams they can sometimes be surprising but most of the ime they are easy to pass but the checking of copies is unpredictable.

Internships Opportunities

1

there are no internship oppurtunities until you are in fourth year so if you want to do internship you need to apply for it on your own on the platforms like linkedin, naukri etc so thats why you need to have very strong technical knowledge and web development and must have good projects which solve real world problem in order to grab an internship oppertunity

Placement Experience

3

overall i would say gl bajaj institute of technology and management greater noida has one of the best placements in private colleges of aktu university even though you would get to experience overall college experience in jss noida but in terms of placements gl bajaj competes with those colleges students are eligible for on campus placements from seventh semester right are they enter into last year companies start to visit for campus drive. there are several good companies that visit aour campur like EY,AIRTEL PAYMENT BANK,THOUGHTSWORK etc and yes this did happen once that a big company came and it rejected every student and didnot make any offers i think probably it was amazon i am not sure this year in 2025 highest placemnt offerd was arrounf 42 lpa to a senior and average package is arround 6 pla arounf 75-80% students get placed my plan is to get placed in good company and be part of coorperate world

Fees and Financial Aid

1-yearwise fees structure is given as;- first year-161300 second year-150800 third year-150800 fourth year-152800 2-detailed fee structure is given as;- tution fees-105450 caution fees-1000 registration fees-2000 departmental society & technical grooming-12950 book bank-9500 career planning and grooming-12950 internal test fees-4000 institute industry interface-12950 medical insurance-500 3- fees is same for all batchmates but i think students with low %in class 12 in cse branches need to give some donation but if you have good score in pcm in class 12(>90%) then you will have no problem in taking admissions here. 4- schollership is provided by up goverment as our college is affiliated with A.K.T.U no other scholarship is provided by college but you can apply for several private scholarships.

Campus Life

1

i would say the overall campus life is quite overwhelming i would say if you want to experience ccampus life, college life dont consider gl bajaj you will not like it here try getting into jss noida it is better in that aspect. only two major events happen throughout the year one is freshers and the other is garba night. the central library is quite bit you can get any book related to engineeringg subjects like computer science, physics, chemistry etc and there are several copies of each book so accecebility is easy thery less technological aspecs in classrooms there are no digital board or even no air condition in classrooms and if we talk about clubs you wont be allowed to get into any club until you are in second year

Admission

frankly i got 87 percentile in jee mains which if very low so i had very less options and all the college that i had in option were affiliated to aktu university. i even though i did prepare for jee very seriously but it was not meant to be i got sick few days before my jee mains exams and everything gone to waste. i applied for kiet ghaziabad and g.l bajaj i didnot make my choice filling complicated as i knoew i can get either of g.l bajaj cse and kiet at my rank but in counselling i missed on kiet it by few hundred ranks so then i did got gl bajaj cse so it accepted it but g.l baja had better placements in recent years even better than kiet and jss and i did talk to seriors of respective colleges at that time most of them did advice me to take gl bajaj cse so i was not very much disappointed when i missed out on kiet it by few hundred rank admission process is quite simple few days after the uptac counselling you will be called for physical reporting in college in which you need to report in collge at a given time with required documents and you need to submit fees then your admission process is easy to complete no need to stress about it.

Faculty

3

the faculty to student raio is decent and most of the teachers are helpful some of them are really friendly and supportive and easy to aproach but a few teachers are a bit strict it overall depend on your department. there are several faculties that i liked during my first year some of them that i remember are rahul sir(teaches electrical),shivam sir(teaches mechanical and currently in second year i liked bhawna mam(teaches data structures),pragya mam(teaches computer organization and architecture) there are also some teachers that i didnot resonate with like trapti mam(teacher maths in first year) she is very strict and vimal sir(he has got a bad accent which catches you off guard while studying there exams are conducted 3 times which ae named as sessional test 1,sessional test 2 and pre uni test they are easy to pass mostly pyq of last 3-4 years and not very much relevent curriculum

Night Life

3

the college ids in greater noida which is like a town so dont expect much it is a town rthere is one huge market which is around 2 kilometers away from college/hostel so students of all colleges go there to hangout i am not reciding in college hostel so cant comment on night life inside college but you need to get in campus before 8 pm

The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
