Then the college will display a minute merit list according to the percentiles and cutoff of the respective branch. Admission is done through the exam known as Maharashtra CET ( Commen entrance test ). CET exam is conducted for various courses. To take admission in Engineering, we have to give exam of physics, chemistry and mathematics. Mathematics is key to clear this examination, because it covers half of the paper. There is 200 marks examination, in which mathematics is of 100 marks and both physics and chemistry is of 50 marks. One should study all this subjects from the textbook of Maharashtra board to clear it. This exam is little easier than JEE. But the quality of mathematics questions is almost same. To give exam we should fill examination form on mahacet website. It charges around 600 for general category students. After the examination, result is declared on website after 2 months.
