The best 4 years of my life

Very high tuition fees and heavy fine structure for defaulters . Overall it was very good experience while being a student of lovely professional university. I learned lot of things and made friends. I miss all my friends, faculty members and other staff of lovely professional university.

I have cleared LPUNEST exam with a good aggregate in 12th Standard in MPC field. This was the best college for education, facilities, sports and industry experience. There was no interview process. I was passionate about physics in my intermediate hence I took up electrical technology in my graduation.

The course was thought very well. Each and every concept was explained in detail and with patience. We had exposure to labs from our 2nd year onward. So a lot of focus on practical learning especially in my field. There were no research initiatives taken by my college.

No, our college didnt provide any internship for students. We sought out this n our own and with the advice of faculty and seniors, we attended internships from other colleges. We got a stipend of 4000 per month.

Placements are really really good. The university conducts exhaustive Pre Placement Training with 3rd party trainers like FACE Academy, SKillrack, Aspiring Minds, conducts workshop and soft skills grooming sessions as well. More than 200 companies visit on campus. Companies in the likes of Amazon, ITC, Wipro, L&T, Cognizant, TCS, Practo Technologies, Mahindra, TechMahindra, Decathlon, VenturePact, Flipkart, PWC, Indian Army, DBS Bank, Axis Bank, Vodafone etc. conduct placement drives. As of 2015 batch, 100% placement is being targeted by the university administration.

There were cultural, technical and musical events all the time. The fest was conducted on vast scale. We had about 5000 students gathering at our campus.

We had to pay 94,500 INR per semester which is highly expensive for a middle class family. There were some scholarships but due to my average performance in LPUNEST I coudnt avail any.

Yes, provided scholarships to students who have fared well in LPUNEST exam( 1.5 L per annum) and for the applicants who have joined early into the campus. I didn't avail any of the scholarships. Yes, banks assisted in providing educational loans to us at minimal interest,

There are many student clubs where students can learn and grow themselves in any field they are in interested in. I myself learnt Bhangra in two months! It is definitely a fun place to be at, even when one is away from home, you end up meeting many people and making amazing friends that one doesn't feel homesick at all. There are some great events held every year where you get a chance to meet celebrities, showcase your own talents or just be a part of the crowd to enjoy!

Yes, I was residing at the hostel. There are 7 on campus Boys Hostels(all sharing) and 6 on campus Girls hostel which provide quite lavish living facilities including 24 hours running water, dedicated hot water taps during winters, wifi, proper drinking water facilities, 24 hours power backup, 24 hours operational food canteens and departmental stores etc. There are loads of food kiosks as well . We paid 40000 per year as hostel fees.

Alumni network is also very functional and active. There are alumni meets held every year in many cities. One just needs to be active as an alumni. The college understood the importance of such interaction and the facilities for it

Examination system is quite scientific and in line with international standards. The class assessments can be either subjective/objective tests, mini projects, case studies etc. The mid term examination is mostly objective type (MCQ) or a mix of subjective+objective . Hence, it was quite hectic on us

The staff and faculty is good enough, capable in exchanging their knowledge and helping the students with their doubts and assignments, they'll helped me achieve great heights in life.
