Likes
- Department and Faculty. They are very supportive and helpful. We don't need external assistance like tuitions. We have regular classes.
- Campus Life is beautiful. I could have never thought of something like this. The campus is situated covering a vast area near the Phoolbagan main Road.
Dislikes
- Routine is sometimes very tight. One Hons class followed by a general class thus if a class gets stretched we have difficulty in reaching the next class on the stipulated time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in Mathematics so I choose to get into this course. The faculty is very dedicated and helpful. They are the best faculty in the whole college. All of them have completed their PhD and are always into studies. The term exams are conducted according to the guidelines and dates set by the Calcutta University.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is affordable and perfectly fine. The fees varies according to your subject combination and the course you enroll into. Vivekananda scholarship and many more are given to the students. There is no opportunity of campus jobs though.
Campus Life
The annual fest in the month of December is called 'Josh'. We have the best and the largest library among all the North colleges under CU. We have scope of NSS (National Social Services) and other sports like Athletics, Football for boys and Kho Kho for girls.
Admission
I applied for the college. The general list came in first. Then the first list, followed by the second list and so on came out. You should score 50% in 12th boards to be eligible. I found the application form and all other details in the college website.
