Course Curriculum Overview
My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies
Fees and Financial Aid
Nothing u will get. 1700 building. Gloomy atmosphere. Every period will be 75 mins. Wooden chair through out the day. Internship stipend u will get 10k-15k even in 2020. Placement packages - 3 to 8 lacs maximum One person got10lacs
Campus Life
Library is good. But the Librarian behaves like u r stealing her personal book In the span of 2 years, I have experienced 2 or 3 fests. U will enjoy with ur group. 2-3 clubs run. But like a government department
Admission
Not very tough. XISS accepts all tests like CAT, CMAT, XAT etc. Simple written test, GD and a round of interview. If u r from SC, ST and OBC it's a cake walk. Once u r selected, u will called to Ranchi for admission process. They are following 1950's method.
