My College and my review

I chose this course because i want to build up my career in commerce side and BCom give us more opportunities. There are many faculty members in the college and everyone is very helpful and kind to students. And there are almost 1 teacher for 45-50 students. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and have a very good teaching method which makes it easy for students to understand. Mid term exams are held every 3 months and semester final exams are held every 6 months. Difficulty level is average if we study a very little on daily basis we can crack exams with good score.

Fees structure is different from course to course. Some courses have very less fees and some have comparatively higher fees. Average fees is 30,000/- per year that means for 2 semesters. There is no scholarship on basis of 12th marks.

Life at campus is very fun specially if you join clubs, social groups. There are many clubs run by students of the college for eg. Aesthetica, VADA Club, BMS Club, etc. They are fun to join and students get to learn new things. It's good there. One should come and experience all this.

In hostel, we are provided with 24/7 electricity, 3 times food and snacks in evening. AC rooms are also available, and there are three sitting room and two sitting rooms also can take room of the wrong choice and with there desired partner. The hostel mess menu is fixed and they prepare food according to that only and the quality is good sometime it's not good but it's good in total. Registration process is quite simple and it's an online process, we have to fill the form and also submit the fees, then we have to get some print outs and submit them to the warden Mam and then she will suggest us some rooms and we can pick accordingly. Charges for AC room and non AC room are different, for AC rooms it is 1,10,000 pa. and for non AC room it is 90,000 pa. I chose hostel because it is more easy for us, as we can go for classes last minute ???? and can go back to our rooms if there is a break b/w 2 classes and those who are living in PG it's quite far and expensive as of daily transport exp.

We had to fill PU forms, it gave us the option to select from all the 11 colleges and put them in our preference sequence. And the admission was on basis of 12th percentage plus their extra points. Local citizens of Chandigarh and EWS class from other states get more benefits even if the EWS is fake. I think general-outsideUT should get more seats.
