The people in college were very accomodative and never behaved partially with students of other regions. The college groomed to be a positive and practical person which I am today.
Entrance Preview
No, there was no entrance exam in my time. I landed up in the college after clearing the viva voce. Yes, there was an interview process. Because of my passion for the mute creatures.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was amazing every single topic was associated with practical learning. Lot of research projects were going on in different faculties specially in microbiology, virology, pathology, surgery and medicine. During 1990's research was in its full swing on embryo transfer technology and chalamydia.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, six months internship program was compulsory to get the degree in B.V.S.C. and A.H. It proved lot beneficial and helped improving my practical knowledge and public dealing.The average stipend amount was rupees 1200 per month.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario was 100%. In our time there were very few companies dealing with the animal husbandry except research companies.
College Events
Annual sports events , college festivals, cattle show, charity programmes, drawing and painting competitions, music fests, etc. were organised. They were quiet impressive in which the state head was cordially invited as acheif guest along with other dignitaries.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was a goverment sponsored seat and fee was rupees 520 per semester and fees was very affordable to all. At that time there was a concession for students below poverty line.

I got the National Scholarship of rupees 300 per month.
Campus Life
Students used to perform in the activities as per their interest and there was no dearth of oppurtunities.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I was a hostlier and the rooms were shared one. The accomodation costed me rupees 300 per semester and the the food was scrumptious.
Alumni/Alumna
It was strong enough. Yes, alumni reunion is organised after every five years. Yes, those who are very well-off do contribute here and there.
Exam Structure
Yes, exams were very frequent that we had to squeeze time for entertainment.
Faculty
Almost every teacher was doctorate but some were post-doctorate also. Due to less number of students in a class (25) the interaction was awesome and every student was got full attention of the teacher. Actually the standard of teaching was too good that I hardly had to come across practical difficulties during the begining of induction inGoverment services.
