Classrooms are top notch. Well furnished and equipped with modern facilities.
Hostel rooms are superb as compared to the hostels of other colleges.

Dislikes

Located at a remote location. So this seems to be a problem for me.
The college restrictions on going outside after a certain time in night.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am enrolled in BTech electronics engineering. Since it's a circuital branch that's why i chose it. Faculty in our department are very good. All of them are having great knowledge in their respective field. Their teaching methodology is also osm. Faculty to student ratio 1:20 The term exams are on time and if someone studies the class notes it's helpful to get pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1162000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visit for internship opportunities like algo8 , bakers11street, Siemens , tech Mahindra. Also we can do research internship under the faculties. Many students go for offcampus opportunities as well.

Placement Experience

From 7th sem students become eligible for placements. Highest package goes up to 24 lpa on campus Average maybe around 9-10lpa Percentage of students getting placed is almost 80-85% Many look for offcampus opportunities as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is same as that of iits. There is a scholarship for sc/st students through which they can get scholarship. Also there is a scholarship given to the meritorious students after the first year completion based on their cgpa. Around 25000 per sem will be the concession in the academic fee for them.

Campus Life

Energia - sports fest. - jan- feb Kaltarang- cultural fest - july - aug Urjostav- tech fest -November Library is so big and having one of the top notch facilities. There are lot of books available Classrooms are just osm. It's well furnished and equipped with all the modern facilities. There are seperate grounds for all the sports.

Admission

Eligibility - Admissions are done on the basis of jee advanced rank. And if seats remain vacant they may consider jee main ranks also. Application can be found on the official website of the college. Application starts after jee advanced results. Reservation are as per the government rules. There is a concession in fee for sc/st students.

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .

An Honest Opinion for your future at RGIPT

This college was Central Government and was taking admission on the basis of JEE Advanced that are the only 2 reasons to take admission here. I got few colleges but I preferred this. RGIPT conducts its own admission process through its portal. Cutoff for JEE advanced was around 30-35k rank. Admission was smooth process....Read More

RGIPT : An underrated college

The admission process included entrance exams like jee advanced and jee mains, but priority of jee advanced candidate is more and if seat remain vancant then it is filled through jee mains. I had applied many state government colleges like gurugram university, mdu rohtak, pec chandigarh, ymca faridabad, iist, iiser. Some of them are quite good but in terms of research and computer science engineering were not there so I freferred RGIPT. Our college accepts admission through JEE Advanced results but if seats remains vacant then it gets filled on the basis of JEE Mains score. Cutoff for JEE advanced is not specific but someone just qualified jee advanced then there is a high chance of getting admission here, and for jee mains, above 94 percentile is considered to be a safe score....Read More

I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
