Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

1. i choose software engineering because the avg package of this branch is decent and the curriculam is not soo difficult to understand and the branch teach us about the latest technologies with upcoming trends in tech field. 2. the faculty ratio is good i did not know the exact but i can give extimate is about 50:1 (students , teacher ) , the faculty is supportive in many cases 3. the teaching method of teacher is from digital board and from the famous book of famous publishers , the mode of languange is mostly english because of international students but for some student it can be bilingual ( hindi + english) 4.offically there were 2 exams ( mid sem exam and end sem exam ) and its depend on teacher if they want to take class test and assignments . the standard of exam is good soo sommetimes its difficult to score in particular subject which can degrade your CGPA but overall the level of exam is good

Fees and Financial Aid

1. the fees of the btech is high compare to other private colleges , the overall conclusion of 4 year btech fees is 8 lakh to 10 lakh approx and the hike in the fees is drastically change you can expect 20 thousand to 30 thousand every semester 2. scholarship is provided by the college to the economical weaker section but the amout is low compare to other government scholarship because its only apply on the tuition fees which is around 150000 in this student will get (50% , 25% ) and only few get 100% scholarship

1. the annual fest is ENGIFEST ( largest cultrual fest ) are conduct once in a year , and small tech fest also occur in couple of months 2. availability of books and journals in library are always available but in exam times you can see the shortage of books , there is a good and best sitting facilities in library with air condition and free wifi network 3. the amenities in classroom is the classroom are airconditions with digital borad facilites and a 3 people sitting wooden chair with comfortable desgin and new hostel and new department buliding are bulid with new auditorium

Admission

1. the eligibility of the course (Btech- SOFTWARE ENGINEERING ) is you have to clear jee mains and the cutoff is different for different cateogies and branch 2. the application form through jac counselling process . first you have to clear jee mains and then you have to sit for JAC delhi counselling then in JAC counselling there will be 5 round including spot round . if your rank is match to the cutoff then you will get a seat in specific branch . then you have to pay fees of half of the amount of first year that will later on componsite on first year fees. 3. the details of reservation is depend on the cutoffs you can check on JAC delhi website 4, there will be too much crowded in the spot round and sometimes things goes messedup , i think the spot round should be conducted online mode for easy access

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.
