Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it belongs to the tech world and in future the tech world is in the most demand faculty ratio is as followed there is one faculty for every 20 students the faculties over here are well qualified who have been graduated by iits or nits , they hold very accountable way of teaching and well established curriculum to teach . Our term exams were held for every 2 months and the difficulty was decent
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit our campus like LNT and ONGC which offer internships with good stipends We have to prepare projects to showcase in front of the companies in order to present our skills sett to them
Placement Experience
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements and many companies visit our campus and numerous offers are made by them highest package of our campus is 65 lpa on campus in my branch that is computer science engineering nearly 95% of students are getting placed and my plans after getting the degrees to get placed in a well established MNC with a good package
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fees structure includes two types of fees one is the tuition fees and other is the mess or hostel fees, tuition fee is estimated to be around 75000 for every sem and the hostel fees is 35000 every Sem . There are many scholarships and financial assistance for reserved categories or with the people who have income less than 5 lpa
Campus Life
The techfest of our college is named as nimbas which is held in march every year , while our cultural fest is named as hilfare which is organised during November month of each year . Books and generals are published by the use of identity cards and their easily available we have several amenities in classrooms including air conditioner rooms and good infrastructure are college also includes many sports activities in extra curricular activities in the campus including inter branch sports activities and inter - NIT sports activities There are numerous clubs and societies in our college including technical societies like gdse, iste and spec While the social groups include rhythmics dance club music club etc
Hostel Facilities
We are provided with four seater rooms which are well furnished and spacious meal quality is enough to stay healthy and menu includes non veg for three times in a week registration process for hostel in affordability is very simple we just have to pay the fees using SBI collect I do not rented any
Admission
To get enrolled in NIT Hamirpur, I had to give JEE mains exam , and its eligibility criteria needs a person to hold PCM in his 12th standard. You can find the application form for JEE mains at the official site of NTA . Application fees is different for every category and the application dates are mostly January and March of any year . Reservation benefits are availed over here with a varying selection criteria for different categories.
