Likes

Experience in the college is very good till now except for a grief that it is a girls college and everything is fine
Our teachers are so cooperative and helpful
Classrooms are good and ground too with good sunlight in winters

Dislikes

Washrooms are not clean at all and locked sometimes
Less societies are active with a lot of politics in them
Auditorium is always closed and no placement opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen bcom because i was not allotted with the colleges with bcom honours.faculty members are good, faculty student ratio is 10:2. Maximum faculty is with phd .Teaching methods are really really good except with some language barriers.4 months gap between semester exams. It was not that difficult to pass, it was easy rather

Fee structure includes tuition fees like 15000 per year according to our course, examination fees every semester. Cost to study is very minimal as it is a college under government.campus jobs such as work study programs are offered to students to cover accommodation expenses

Campus Life

One annual fest is there every year and several others functions and programs very oftenly,in classrooms basic amenities are provided,proper availability of books and journals is there in the library, there are several sports like volleyball ball and societies in the college which are active

Admission

It was done by giving CUET exam for admission in Delhi University. Colleges were allotted then as per scoresheets.we have ro learn our normal syllabus of 11and12tg standard.Application form was on du portal only , application fees was submitted online only.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Take admission if you wanna graduate just to get a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

Vivekananda College is a dream of every girl!

Hindi Hons are not offered by all DU colleges, as though my parents warned me for a girls college and top level girls colleges like the Gargi, LSR or KNC. Firstly admission in the college are done under cuet examination we have to give that first then we have to apply for different university website for our admissions .and cuet is the only exam all the student have to give for the admissions and cuet examination experience is good as it is our first cbt based exam held .
