Course Curriculum Overview
I have read the subject of Sanskrit till 12th that's why I have choosed this Sanskrit Honours after Journalism and interest was also. The faculty of my department is excellent, they are highly qualified and researchers. Some of them are passed within th college only. The student ratio in my class in 26 and in my department overall 500 . The term exams os held in a 6 month basis. The exams are moderate level and easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The Hindu College, DU has released its placement report for the year 2023. The highest package offered was Rs 36.50 LPA, while the lowest package was Rs 10.40 LPA. The median package was Rs 8.40 LPA. Top recruiters included Accenture, AON, JSW, KPMG, and HCL.
Placement Experience
From 6th Semester students become eligible for placement. Companies like Wipro, Amazon etc. The highest package was of 35 LPA and the minimum was 7LPA . Every year around 300-400 students got job. My was to do PG in Political Science and study for UPSC after taking UG degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was ?25200 for Sanskrit Honors. The minimum cost was ?15000 . Several scholarships was given to us eg. - Dean Financial help for students, VCs Scholarship Program and College Scholarship Program.
Campus Life
Annual fest MECCA is conducted every year in Hindu. It is the biggest fest organize in DU campus every year in the month of February. There are maximum 2000 to 3000 books and journals in the library for every subject. The class room is well organised and installed with a Smart Board. Hindu college has a big hectare ground with badminton court, Cricket net, Sports Campus, Volleyball and basketball court. Every day one or twoo activities were take place. Various clubs are there like Symposium (the Parliament society), Vagmi (Hindi Debating Society), etc.
Admission
CUET exam was conducted by NTA admission process was on the basis of entrance exam computer based exams. The exam was on the syllabus of Class 12th subjects the cut off was 600-700 out of 800 for the course
