Remarks

As the college is situated in hills, there is major water shortage of water in rainy season in the hostel. Rest is good. It's little hectic to reach the campus but once you are inside it, it's heaven. As the college is away from major metro cities, it takes time for laboratory equipment to each here but overall it's worth it.

Institute has Center for Energy and Environmental Engineering which is very much focused on the research and development in the field.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is compulsory in few courses. But one has to outsource the internship from some reputed firm.

Placement Experience

This year package has went as high as 75 LPA. CS/IT/ EC branches have 100 percent placement. Students of core branches have to compromise a little in terms of package.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fee is ₹ 42000 and hostel fee per semester is ₹ 20,000. Gate qualified students pursuing M.tech get ₹ 12,400 as stipend per month

Hostel Facilities

Boys get single rooms. Girls don't as there are only three hostels for girls which is less in number as compared to the number of female candidates taking admission every year.

Exam Structure

The curriculum is an amalgamation. You get frequent tests for evaluation and at the same time there are so many clubs in the campus where you can explore your hidden talent.

Faculty

Majority of faculty are PhD holder from reputed institution. Some have post-doc also. The faculty hired on contractual basis are generally M.tech. Faculty is easy to approach and most are available in the campus after College time to guide in research.

From placement point of view our collage is in top. Almost 80-90% student got placement in top companies. Jacob, wsp atkins amd more top companies came for placement. Highest package was i guess 14lpa . If some not got placement then he do choose phd.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.
