Course Curriculum Overview

I was passionate to join premier colleges in India so I choose NIT calicut. There will be division of branch into batches.Each batch having two advisors.There will be two semester per year.Mid exams,End term exams and quizzes will be conducted during semester.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 168000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I was not attend the internships interview but I came to know that the institute brings many companies to the institute which will helpful for the student in the institute experience the industry and expose to the work

Placement Experience

After semester 6 students are eligible for placements. Companies like TVS ,Voltas ,Microsoft, Samsung, and many companies visited campus. The highest package is 49 lakh per annum CTC and average package is around 15 lakh per annum CTC

Fees and Financial Aid

There will be tuition fees,extra fees and hostel fees. Those who have economy below 5 lakh will get reduction in tuition fees. Other private organizations provide scholarships which will be helpful to the students.

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs in the institute which are helpful bring out hidden talent in students.The library in the institute is very big and helpful for students.The institute provided good infrastructure to the students.

Hostel Facilities

Internet is provided to the every room in the hostel through LAN.The facilities are quite good in the hostel.The mess food is not good but not bad.The registration and Fee Payment is done NITC hostel app

Admission

We need to appear for jee main exam which was conducted by NTA.After getting the results we need to register for JoSAA counselling and fill options in order (colleges and courses).After six rounds,CSAB counselling we get a seat.we need to report that in specified rime

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
