Remarks

As of good remarks i would like to tell that our college has good ambience and atmosphere... and as part of bad remark our college does not have proper progress in standard teaching.

Entrance Preview

Basically we had an entrance exam called NATA,i was able to clear it but my CET ranking wasn't quantfying enough to get through...so i had to get into through management seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As in trending world architecture has a huge knowledge and scope...its very artistic course as well..and they also keep teaching us practicality in mind..and also we have regular site visits.

Internships Opportunities

As of now till today we did not get any internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

4

As iam an architecture student we dont have placement scenario at all.we need to find our own firms for internship and further jobs.

College Events

3

This year we had an big budget event called NASA exclusively for architectural students wherein estimation was upto 1crore.As of technical we have PUPA as fest and cultural we have SAPPHIRE and PLEADIES as fest conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Initially i had to pay ₹2.45lakhs...but as of now iam paying yearly ₹105000

Fees and Financial Aid

Yea our college provides yearly scholarship round upto amount of ₹43000.

Campus Life

4

Umm..,interms of extracurriculars we do get ample opportunities to explore our talents in the form of fests conducted and some in competitions and workshops also.

Hostel Facilities

2

Nope i dont recide in hostel...no,there weren't any single rooms, each room had sharing.I guess the hostel fees rounds upto 1lakh but iam sorry to say that i have no idea regarding exact fee structure and food.

Alumni/Alumna

Its a honor that sudha murthy mam has studied in our college and she's one among our alumini...,and yes all our alumini contribute for upcoming and overall development of college and students also.

Exam Structure

We just dont have pressure during exam days but we do have frequent submission apart from exam days.

Faculty

2.5

Faculties are qualified and even experienced at certain level and they do interact in all aspect but there's not much progress in standard of teaching.

Admission:

The admission procedure is not tedious. After plus 2 and appearing for JEE 2 or NATA exams, candidates have to apply with that scores. After screening they will be called for interview. For validation purposes, all the original certificates will be scrutinized.

This is a very good College in terms of education and co-curricular activities. The events hosted in the College and the workshops are almost always paid for so it is hard if you don't have pocket money with you always.

Admission:

I applied to the college based on my score in the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA). I also appeared in the JEE Main paper 2. However, the NATA score been good then JEE Main paper 2 so I said for the NATA counselling. I was allotted a seat in the institute in spot counselling. After the grant of the admission I was called to the campus to complete the procedural formalities for admission. I opted for the institute because it is one of the top institute for architecture studies in Mysore.

Remarks:

The Architectural education scene is still a work in progress, and the quality changes dramatically in a short period of time and hence the relevancy of my remarks here are questionable., Management has changed recently, the University of Mysore has taken over, and it brings bigger resources, better integration with other university facilities and it's government-like administration with it's pros and cons. It would be wise to personally visit the facilty.
