CVR college is well known private engineering college in both the Telugu states.The only reason I joined in CVR is they conducted special Programs for Civil Engineering Students with extra care.
Entrance Preview
As it was an Eamcet college we need to Write Telengana Eamcet examination to get admission into CVR college. My state rank in Eamcet was 17,000. So I got Civil Engineering course. we need attend the counseling session conducted by Telangana board in order to confirm our seat in the college.There are 15% seats under management quota where students can apply through their JEE Rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well planned and we'll executed here in CVR. Our college is well known for it's care towards practical education.We have many lab sessions in Civil department.we have many special programs for the civil course.we never feel bored of labs and classes.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides internships to students. Also, students can choose companies where they are going to take internships. According to our seniors, the Internship process is full of excitement and Interesting too.
Placement Experience
When it comes to placements CVR is best among the other private engineering colleges in the Hyderabad.companies like Amazon, Infosys, L&T etc visit our campus every year and takes many students Into their companies.Highest package in the previous year was 16lpa and average is up to 8lpa.
College Events
Freshers party is the common event conducted every year on our campus.Our college conducted many Technical and Non-technical Fests every year and many students from across the State attends the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee here in CVR is not too high and less when compared to other private colleges.fee is affordable to everyone. The course fee is 90,000 per annum. Students will get the scholarship of 36000 and it is being paid by State Government of Telangana. if you get admission under management quota you don't get any scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I mentioned in the fee details Telangana Government provides 36000 scholarship for every student. I'm not sure but I think college helps students in getting loans.There are many scholarships offers available for economically Backwards students.
Campus Life
College conducts many sports meets.It also includes cricket tournament which is conducted in December. We have one mini cricket stadium, Volleyball court and also Indoor stadium which is equipped with snookers,table tennis etc.Student clubs clubs frequently conducts cultural programs in campus.
Hostel Facilities
We have only one boys hostel in our campus.At present we don't have any girl hostel and it is under construction.Hostel fee is 70,000 for each year.We have only four beds equipped Hotel rooms.Since college is located outside the city availability Of PGs are less.food is moderate.
Alumni/Alumna
We have good and active alumni structure.Institute conducts annual Alumni meets where Students are allowed to interact with Old students and share their experiences.
Exam Structure
We don't have frequent exams so we never feel stress about exams.we have 2 mid semesters of 15% weightage each and end semester is of 50%.Remaining 20% includes lab exams and viva's.
Faculty
Faculty in my college are well experienced and qualified.many of them got their PhD's from prestigious Universities like IIT's and NIT S. They're are very interactive and helpful towards students
