Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because I have an interest in this course and this is my favorite subject. The faculty are very friendly and always there to help you and guide you for the future. If I talk about the student ratio then the college is of open learning so there is no limit of students for the class. when classes are scheduled the students are divided according to the classroom size. I don't know the exact qualifications of the faculty but the faculty are well qualified and their teaching method is very unique and easy to understand. The exams are held semester-wise and every six months. The exams are not too difficult to pass if you study properly you can definitely pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I took the admission the fee was low but now when the policy change and the new system come like NEP. So in this new scheme, the fee has been increased there is a little hike on it. And there is no cost to study extra after the fees you pay. you don't even have to purchase the books from outside the university provide the books. According to my knowledge, I think there is no scholarship but sometimes they provide special scholarships for girls. Now they started to provide financial assistance and also those who are not capable of paying complete fees. They also provide internships for the graduates with stipend.

Campus Life

4.5

There is no any annual fest conducted for the students but there is an annual fest conducted for the faculty, teachers, and all. There are always books available for the students but there is no need for a library because the books are sufficient for students to study. If we talk about the facility then there are all the facilities like medical, fan, AC, water, and tables and chairs to study. No there are no sports social groups, or clubs for students.

Admission

The admission process was very easy and simple. To apply for admission, the university opens the admission form online on its official website where students can fill out the form and submit all the details. For admission, there is no entrance exam, and there is no seat limit to take admission. Everyone who is filling out the form is 100 % confirmed that his admission will be done. If we talk about the eligibility criteria of the course, there are some limits to it like if you are opting for any course then you must have these subjects and percentages also. For detailed information, you can see the eligibility criteria when the admission starts. You can get the admission form on the official website of SOL. The application fee has increased now before it was around 4700 and now it is around 7000, and the application dates are as per the university guidelines. There are some benefits for the reservation category like relaxation on fees. I don't want any improvement, all is good.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts from the fifth semester, that is from the last year of the course. Different companies like Delloite, IBM, etc visits for placement opportunities and as far as I knew, the lowest CTC in the year 2022 was around 6lakhs per annum. I did my post-graduation later on so I never went through the placement process.
