Remarks

No. I absolutely love my time at the college. It is a lot of fun. There is a good work-life balance and is smooth sailing if done responsibly.

Entrance Preview

I wrote the SET. Upon achieving the desired cut-off, there was an interview and a writing ability test. I was really interested in the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I find the course to be quite comprehensive. It focuses quite a bit on practical learning and encourages students to take up more of it during internships.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college does provide internships. They were quite interesting. Out of the two that I've done so far, no stipend. But they weren't through the college. But the college's training and placement cell is well equipped and has both sources and resources. People who apply from college easily get internship in and around delhi in various metropolitan courts, Delhi high court and even Supreme court and also in various MNCs including coke , KTS tusli and various others.

Placement Experience

4

From what I've heard from my senior colleagues as well as contacts outside of the college, placements with a good salary package are quite common. Although on campus placements are low since most people gets there PPOs in fourth year during their internship or so. The highest package last year was 22 lacs and average package was 8 lacs.

College Events

3.5

Symfiesta is the school fest. We have cultural evenings every other month. The faculty and the students works hand in hand and manage and organize it perfectly. Also normal celebrations of events like teachers day, independence day are also organised. The cultural contingent of the students take care of all such events. Also from last year, the SLS - N has also started to organize its own sports fest - Aprajit which was a huge success and will be held every year now

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the semester is 1,10,000 per year for the batch of 2016-21 and it increases every year till 3rd year at the rate of 5% every year. Also every new batch's fees is more than the previous and there is no certain rate as at what rate it increases. Also the fees needs to paid in two installments, first at the start of the year and other after two months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does't give any scholarship but definitely helps in getting loan. one can approach or contact office of the college for same. The administration of the college is more than happy to help and also is very pro active in arranging documents and required certificates for the same

Campus Life

4.5

We have been given quite a bit of time to pursue further activities and interests. These are done so with the full support of the college. There are sports contingent for almost every game including Cricket, badminton, chess, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis and even carom and chess. Also the cultural contingent for music, dance, drama and debate are also formed every year. the selection in all these contingents is through auditions.

Hostel Facilities

4

as till this point in the time, there is just a girls hostel and whose fees is 1,50,000 a year on three sharing basis. The amenities in the hostel are good and so the food. For boys there is a private hostel nearby called Sanskriti Awaas. There are many residential societies nearby where flats are easily available ranging from 17,000 to 25,000 and there is not much of a bachelor issue there.

Alumni/Alumna

The college is new and there is not much of a prestigious alumni of the college as of now but few of them definitely come to college to assist students. Also there is no formal platform or event for such interaction.

Exam Structure

I feel that exams and there frequency within SLSN is imperative for a professional course such as the one that I've opted for. Not too much burden, but not a plethora of free time either. There are two sets of internal exams which are conducted during the semester and final exams at the last of the semester.

Faculty

4

A highly qualified and experienced faculty is present. The teachers are open to discussion during or even after classes. Very approachable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There were around 20 to 25 speakers in my course. Because of an enormous number of understudies in a solitary course, we were partitioned in various segments and each segment has distinctive instructors for a similar subject ( few were normal). The majority of the teachers are matured between 50 to 60 who are probably going to get retirement however they have the main part of information and experience since they are profoundly qualified. Also, not many speakers have recently added researchers of the organization who don't have that much insight yet discovered new and simpler strategies of learning and instructing.

After the 5th semester students get eligible for campus placements. The highest package companies were Byju's, Big Basket, Tech Mahindra, etc. and give the best offers to the undergraduate students. Highest package was 7Lpa and the average was 1.2Lpa and the profiles offered were BDA, CSE, Marketing, HR, etc. Out of 100% students 70-80% students get placed and the rest prepare for Master course My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for the Master course.
