Good and Beautiful Campus, Low and Affordable Fees

Bad Gender Ratio, Average Classrooms with no AC and no Smartboard
Lot of Subjects and some are irrelevant also
Attendance is quite Strict and lot of Exams and Decline in Placement Record

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 7 Subjects in my 1st Semester. I chose this career because I want to go in Tech Field and learn Coding and design various Tools of AI . Faculties are good but the gender Ratio is very bad. There were two Minor Ex and Practicals Exams. My End Semester Exam is starting in January.

Internships Opportunities

College provides Internship to students of 3rd Year. So I dont know much about Internship Opprtunities provided by College as I am studying in 1st Semester but Internship Opprtunities are good as said by 3rd Year Students.

Placement Experience

Placements are good but this year Placement Record of USICT has gone down. In 2023 highest package is 23 LPA and Average Package is 9 LPA. In 2022 Highest Package was 45 LPA and Average Package wad 12 LPA. 4th year students are eligible for Placements. Companies like TCS, Adobe, Rapido, Infosys, Amzon and other Tech Companies and few Non Tech Companies visit here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of 1st Year USICT is 132K and from Second year it reduces to 120K . Merit cum scholarship is provided to students of 3rd Year. Students whose family income is less, college provide scholarship to them also.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good. GGSIPU Campus is big and beautiful with Sports Ground, Canteen, Hostels, Rose Garden, Auditorium, Health Centre, Library , Nescafe Shop, Amul Shop, Mother Dairy Shop. The annual fest of GGSIPU is Anugoonj conducted in the month of February. Library is amazing where all books related to Syllabus and other courses are available. Previous Year Question Papers are also available. Sports Activities are also there.

Admission

Admission was done through GGGSIPU Counselling. There were 3 Rounds and later Spot Round. I got seat of B. Tech IT in USICT in Spot Round 1. Seat was givem to me on the basis of Rank in JEE Main Exam.

Overview of DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Placement Experience:

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.

Life and learning at ADGIPS

Course Curriculum Overview:

industry relevent topics like ai , python , oops, numpy ,pandas, sql , etc with balance with theory and also with maths good for job readliness in tech role because of sql , pandas and machine learnig like laguages in collage teachers are still using old studioes for programming they are not switching to vs studio and jupyter notebook like studios papers are moderate but they are too frequent like 2 mid tearm with externam practical and then end term and center of exams some time placed at very far place which is not good

DTU- a glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

I applied to JOSAA counselling for NITs/IIITs but did not get tech branches in those colleges,. I also applied for JAC Delhi counselling for DTU,NSUT,IIITD but did not get desired seat and branch. The admission process is entirely based on the NIMCET entrance exam. One should achieve a good rank in the NIMCET entrance exam in order to get admission to this college. The eligibility for getting admission in MCA is that you should have math's or computer science in your bachelors and have got at least 55% marks in your bachelors. If I talk about reservations, IPU reserves around 60% of the seats for Delhi students.
