Likes

Less fees good return of investment and facilities are very good and college is very beautiful
Hostel and mess facilities are also very good
College also involves us in extra curricular activities which inhanse our personality

Dislikes

Street dogs are everywhere which annoy you some time
Strict schedule of class and 75 percent attendance compalsary
Some of area have not proper light and maintenance

All the courses in bit sindri is very good the teachers and professor are well educated then there teaching style is too good the are very enthusiastic and give students there best as they can give. Many teachers are from iits nits, they have done there btech mtech PhD from iits nits and other good institution

Tata inspires jsw vedanta and many it companies gives intership to students and many of the intership are paid you will get money for internships you will get a stipend of 10kto 30k in your intership period

Placement are very good the return of investment of this college is too good it's has 90 percent placement record with highest placement of 50lpa. Students also get intership in good company where they get knowledge about industry

There are many students whose financial conditions are not good they get scholarship from government and other private scholarship like ekalyaan reliance foundation ffe,there are many internship opportunities to the students

Campus Life

The campus life is soo good there are greenery every where you will get a proper study environment with good companions, the staff are also so supportive and class room is good there is a library also in college and many extra curricular activities organised in campus

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility are good you will feel that you are in your home they serve you food very nicely there meals are proper hygiene and tasty and food cost and hostel cost is also affordable and there are also pg facilities near campus

Admission

You have to qualify jee mains exam with a good percentile. And you should have minimum 60 percent marks in 12th board. You have to fill jee mains exam and score good in it and then through jceceb council you will take part in government college of jharkhand and if you have good score then you will get a good college and for good branch your jee mains result should be more the preference order of any student in bit sindri is first computer science engineering then information technology then electronics and communication engineering then electrical engineering then mechanical engineering then mining then chemical then metal then civil then production.there are 27percent seat reserved for obc students 15 percent for SC and 10 percent for ST

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Students become eligible for internship after 4th semester , after 6th semester the companies start coming for regular placement For cse the average was around 20 lpa with median being 16-17 lpa Companies that generally visit are - atlassian, Amazon, flipkart , BNY Mellon, cisco, Texas Instruments etc Around 140 offers were made and in a batch of 120, 100 have secured placement Placement percentage is around 92% Highest package - 65 lpa atlassian (on campus) 1.23 cr rubrik (off campus) Lowest package - 7 lpa Average - 18 - 20 lpa

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.

I could have gotten admitted in NIFFT Ranchi and by the 2k24 cut offs I could have gotten BIT mesra Chemical alonwith a plethora of colleges on AKTU or MPDTE counclling.I also qualifies CUET with a decent rank enough to secure a college in the DU south campus. The primary reason I chose this college was the Return on investment.Even withot any fees waiver the entire fee here is close to 4 lakhs for a span of 4 years which is very low compared to the average package of the college.Als the branch Mechanical has a decent scope in the GATE exams. First of all this college is only for the students of Jharkhand.If you wanna get admitted here and belong to the general category you need a percentile from 87 to 94.5.If you are from other categores the cutoff goes even lower.The admission process is quite simple.You fill a form which will ask you for a security deposit of 5000 on the jcece website.After this you will be eleigibke to do choice filling.You will be alloted a branch based of your rank and choice.Forgetting admission you will have to vsit the college annd submit all your documents.You can upgrade your branch in the later rounds.There are 3 rounds and 2 special rounds....Read More
