Likes

The environment the surrounding here is too good
The meals provided are above my expectations
Apart from that placements is the main attraction here

Dislikes

I don't like the auditorium there are many chairs which are not in suitable condition
There is no wifi installed in our college
Also there is no 24×7 availability of electricity during rainy season

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are according to the syllabus published by jut and the exam paper are really good and are taken fairly.There are 2 semesters in 1 year one external exam and one internal.There two mid sems taken and the best in the two is taken into consideration

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 7732 per year

Placement Experience

From second year you can take part in any internship program only you need to have some sort of skills.The average package here is ten lakh and highest package is about forty four lakh.After my degree I want to have a job in my pocket

Fees and Financial Aid

The cos of studying in this college is really low and even a student from a weak financial background can easily take admission and there are many scholarship which are given based on their category

Campus Life

The library is really huge and there are many clubs which can help you to develop skills personality and also to reduce stress.Apart from that there are my sports played in our college like cricket basketball etc

Hostel Facilities

The facilities is really good everything is well maintained and structured and the environment here is too good.It capture about 450 acres of land and the meal is really healthy and is really hygeneic

Hostel Fee: INR 9500 per year

Admission

The application form is easily accessible in jcece website and the admission process is really easy and the thing you need to do is to score above 90 percentile if you belong to general category and after the stae merit list is published just you need take admission after the choice filling and seat allotment

Interview Experience

You need to score 40% atleast in physics chemistry and maths.You should have proper documents of your category reservation and local resident certificate migration certificate 12th and 10th marksheet

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

We had very little companies for placement ibm and hcl came for bpo jobs.. About 80% left with no jobs after completing the session... Very poor placement opportunities. After completing the jobs most of us went to banglore for searching jobs... We had placement if any after completing 8 semesters We had ibm and hcl but they asked for donations before giving jobs. Packages were 3.6 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. Overall 20% got placement. I prepared for Government exams after completing my degree.

I choose B tech in Computer. Student ratio is more than 100. Teachers are very good. All qualified teachers. Semester were there and exams were done on that basis. Very month, we have to give a class test also.

LIFE IN NIT JAMSHEDPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this was the branch I was getting through my JEE score. Faculty student ratio is 3:100. All the professors here are highly qualified and had phd from top colleges of the worl. There research has been published by many publications ,many of them had written books and got published . there researchs are famous world wide . The teaching method of professor is very good they explain the topics upto which it is necessary to be known. Exams here are held timely ,2 semesters per year and the level of question paper is moderate.

So my college comes under jharkhand government which is following jee mains percentile /ranks for admission. For general category students Scoring above 95 percentile gives them opportunity to have cse branch and gradually decreases for other branches. Bit Sindri, a college for allrounders.

Admission happens through jceceb according to common merit list. Common merit list is based upon jee mains percentile. For mechanical you need roughly around 92 percentile. For ece 95, for computer science engineering its roughly near 96. Btech course is done here for 4 years....Read More
