Only institute which gives you M.E degree in Cyber Security

The college management is good and smooth. The vice chancellor is given special attention to the institute. He conduct one-one meeting with students monthly to improve the management in any way better. All the grievance and problem are addressed with full attention and are given solution within the limited time frame.

To get into the post graduation in Gujarat state you can either give GATE examination or state entrance examination PGCET. As the institute is stating University funded the GATE students will be given preference. I scored 69 and was in top 50 and got selected in the merit list. The main reason I selected this particular course is that this course is a demanding course in today's IT world and the digital world needs such cyber experts.

The course is being designed by the cyber security experts and various senior GSPC qualified faculties. Over all cyber security is being covered by the curriculum. Cryptography, cyber forensics, cyber crime, cyber laws, web, and Database security, cryptanalysis and such more domains are covered. Practical sessions on various topics such as live attacks, passive attacks, securing hardware such as routers, hub switch are being performed here.

The college provides internship in the last year to the students. The internship varies from 2 months to 1 year. Various cybersecurity companies come for the recruitment drive organized by the GTU. Companies such as Comexpo Cybersecurity. SYNJ, state cybersecurity and law enforcement company, GFSU, TCS , IPR. The 1-month internship is being provided by Gurugram Police

As the course is new, no previous placement is done here. But as the course is running under State University GTU, they are in talk with various security companies and other organisation where students of cyber security can play a vital role. Companies such as Comexpo Security , Zenshanti , SYNJ , Sophos , TCS , Infosys are some of the company which are looking forward for a campus drive.

The institute doesn't provide any loan to students. But if a student is a GATE qualified then he will get 12500 per month from MHRD as a stipend. A student can avail loan from the bank.

The hostel is provided by the institute at the Chandkheda campus under staff quarters. As the number of students are limited , the hostel space doesn't bother much. The food facility is to be taken care by the students only. Mess facility is not available.

As the institute is newly started, we dont have any alumni or senior. But senior students of other colleges come and join us and guide.

Talking about internal exam, institute conduct two Mid Sem exam in a span of 1 semester. First mid sem exam is after completion of 1.5 month of sem and the 2nd mid sem exam is done before 1 month of completion of semester. The end semester exam is conducted by the University. Regular presentation are conducted by the students.

The exam form for PGCET are available at the bank choosen by ACPC before 2 months of examination. (june/july 2018). After completing the forms, you have to submit the documents to ACPC. The examination date will be finalized be ACPC and after the examination MERIT list will be released within months and addmis proce will start. All the facilities are from cyber security domain. faculties qualified from GFSU , RSU are selected Assistant Professor of GTU are also designated st the campus. Various expert faculties GSPC qualified faculties take regular sessions. Weekly sessions from Industry person are conducted for the students.
