Remarks

College is good and college life is also good. The most important thing is infrastructure of this college which one will not grt in other nedical colleges

Entrance Preview

NEET-UG I got 450 marks out of 720 in the NEET-UG examination. I choose this college because this college has the good environment for studies and also had a good infrastructure as compared to other government colleges in Punjab.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery also called MBBS is a good profession which made you a doctor. It had four professionals all are of one year and the second professional is of one and half year through which you had to go an annual examination and several class tests and assignments. And get your degree done.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. This college also provide internship to students of their own college and other colleges. So far. Externs which are not from this college are not provided any stipend but students of this college are are getting about nine thousand per month. Aa i am not pass out so cannot comment on experince of internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

As a doctor proffessional college one will not find companies coming here and giving placements to students. There is already shortage of doctors in our country so one will find job easily any where in country on basis of his or her skills and knowledge.

College Events

4

As it is a proffessional college there are limited events managed in the college. Every year a intercollege festival is organised by student which is tottaly funded and managed by students of the college. Several events are organised in this festival such as sports and dance, poetry etc. it lasts for 3 days and held around august or september.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of college is a bit expensive. As there is a percentage of fee is increased every year. First proffessional it is 80 thousand Next is 90 thousand Then one lakh And then one lakh ten thousand and final is one lac twenty thousand. Which is a bit more as compared to other states.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of my knowledge no scolarship or any loan facility is provided by this college and i had not avail any service of this type.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life of this college is a bit average. Not so much interesting As a professional college there are routine classes and one had to maintain discipline and decorum of college laws. The gender ratio is a bit around 50:50. Because there is the huge number of girls. As compared to boys

Hostel Facilities

3

As like of every other hostel’s mess food is average. Not so good because a homemade food is homemade no one can match that. But the hostel is much better if we compare. Each student is provided his separate room which is much enough space for one person.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are so much helpful in this institution they give good guidance about everything and are there for you when their juniors need help.

Exam Structure

As I already mentioned there are four professionals which are total of four and half years. There is a system of annual examination at an end of each professional. Though one had to go through several tests and assignments throughout the year to improve his or her knowledge and skills.

Admission

Firstly, one had to appear and qualify NEET-UG examination which is held at all india level. Then after results declared of examination one had to apply for rank in state you need to fill a form for attending counselling for baba farid universtity of health and sciences which is controlling all medical facilities in punjab. Then you had to attend the counselling and one will get college according to their ranks.

Faculty

4

College faculty is very good, caring and supporting in all ways. As it is a proffessional college so sports is less as compared to other colleges but overall faculty members are godd and supportive towards their students. One thing about college is a good infrastructure which one will not find in other colleges in punjab.
