Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is not decided by the college but by the university(BFUHS) and by NMC which has now become competency based, i.e., the chapters are divided into sub topics nd sub subtopics for more extensive coverage.
Fees and Financial Aid
600000 per year with 10% increament every year. there are compulsary wifi charges but those are only for the wifi of library which is also not accessible to everyone. I have semi govt seat but there are people with full management seat who pay the double. there is no other financial aid offered.
Campus Life
there are not many social and techmical events. except an annual fest which started in 2023 only. sports and extracurricular activities are very less esp for girls. no clubs or impacts groups are there in the college except one or two sports clubs of boys.
Hostel Facilities
We are given single occupancy rooms in the hostel. We are allowed to have air conditioners which are provided by the college on request. meal quality in the mess is fine. there is a vending machine in each hostel
Admission
i applied to other medical colleges of the state punjab but did not get selected due to marginal shortage of marks in NEET. i scored 561 in neet 2023, and these marks got me admission into this college.
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is fine. we have been provided mentors according to roll no. for the entire course. Anatomy faculty is very good, extensive and supportive in 1st year. final exams are taken by the university, though the college takes a lot of tests to prepare one for those.
Night Life
girls have an intime of 8pm and we are nor allowed to step out of the campus without parents permission. there is a gym in the campus and a cafe. campus in time is 6.30 nd outing is not allowed to first year students except on sundays.
