well equipped libraries and labs which are very helpful
playgrounds and canteens and greenery wont make you feel lonely
various clubs to explore your interests .

Dislikes

lack of cleanliness inside the blocks and bathrooms
declining placements which demotivate us a bit
strict curicullum and attendance system which makes it very hectic to handle

i had interest in learning new technologies and exploring about it so i chose this course . student ratio in my class is 0,all are boys. teachers are well qualifed and professional in their respective fields. there are two mid terms exams and then end sem and they check your concepts deeply

fees structure of btech-it is 120000 per year. there are several relaxations to fees like ews scheme the placement is declining since two years due to so called recession. since i m in first year ,i dont know much about stipends

Campus Life

life is overall decent. there are various canteens so you wont find yourself empty stomach for sure. there are many clubs of all type that you can join. therr is separate football ground,cricket ground,basketball court and many others.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

The campus infrastructure is above average.

I don't liked the placement part otherwise college was good . For average students only 2 companies came I. E. TCS and Wipro otherwise every company asked for students having above 70%. But the faculty is not up to the mark or expectations as USICT is IP's main campus still faculty here is not good. Most of the Teachers don't provide lectures properly or it can be said that they don't know how to manage a class....Read More
