The management is very nice. The college is academically very strong. The concepts get clear very easily. Other activities are held regularly. If you get a chance to take admission in SPAV I will strongly recommend you to take. Little disputes happens in every college which can be ignored at times. College held regularly sports and cultural activities which everyone can take part.

I cleared JEE MAIN ENTRANCE EXAM with rank 2170 to be eligible for this college. I opted this college because SPA VIJAYAWADA has National and international reputation. I opted for B.Planning course because it is related to city level works. And I will be working on macro scale which I wanted to do.

B.planning enables me to work on city level scale. SPAV provide all the type of academic studies which is needed for these type of jobs. It has a bright future with a very good scope of work ahead. People can research many new things and technology in this course

Yes our college provide internship for the students. The students may get stipend accordingly to the work they do it's around 10 to 15k per month (not sure). Moreover they even provide the accommodation facilities for the internship students. The exposure is very nice and the person can learn many new things.

People need to search job on it's own. Some placement cells do come to college. Every year almost everyone has a job at the end of the semester either from. Campus cell or from their own contact. The packages they get is a bit small. Planning is vast scale job so earning for the city development is a bit hard and requires hard work.

Almost all the festivals like Ganesh chaturthi, Holi, onam, pongal, Diwali are celebrated whole heatedly. Moreover their are events like NASA, JONASA, NOSPLAN competition which our college take part actively. The college host our own college fest INYAN which which is an important part of college cultural event.

The fee structure is very feasible if you compare with other colleges. It has one of the lowest fee structures giving the highest possible facilities. All the details will be given in written and no extra amount is taken or sanctioned to any students untill required in emergency or any discrepancy.

Yes, the scholarship have been provided to SC STs and the Andhra Pradesh students. The details are provided as per the scholarship schemes prevail by the government of India. The college takes initiatives to uplift the scheduled section of the society to ensure maximum benefits available for them to complete their studies.

College contains almost equal proportion of girls and boys to balance the college gender ratio. Workshops are regularly held to ensure the students participating in academic orientated events. Their are are various clubs in which students can be a part of and give their ideas for the various events. The festivals are celebrated very nicely and the arrangements are exclusively done. Faculties also become the part of the cultural societies many times. Their is no sexual harrasments or any abusive behavior in the college. Their is no means of differentiation on the basis of gender, caste, Creed, religion, race, ethnicity or economic status. SPAV has a very friendly environment which every student can adopt easily.

The hostel facilities are quite nice as compared to other colleges. The rooms are very comfortable with proper furnitures available in each double and single rooms. Hostel mess is quite okay in case of food. The timings and the facilities are accordingly and acceptable.

The alumni and the seniors are very helpful. They teach you many things. Taking part in any event or competitions will require a lot of guidelines from the seniors. SPAV seniors have always remain faithful and gentle to their juniors.

Each semester consists of a mid semester and 2 assessment examination tests. There are two computer labs in our college. GIS lab has access to GIS software and many other relevant softwares. The second computer lab has AutoCAD, Microsoft etc which is very helpful for the students to access. Both the labs are air conditioned. People can relax and do their work silently

For getting admission in School of planning and architecture Vijayawada you need to be eligible to write JEE MAIN examination. For that you need to score minimum 75% of marks in 12th board examination. JEE MAIN has 2 papers. Paper 1 enables you to enter in an engineering college persuing B.tech. Writing Paper 2 enables a student to persue B. Architecture or B.planning. According to the marks and rank you can get a college. JOSSAA conducts the counselling for JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED. You need to search for the colleges and courses you prefer and set it according to your priorities. The counselling rounds last from 6-7 rounds of seat allotment in a college according to the rank. The reporting center will be mentioned in the rule book provided by the website of JOSSAA. In 1st round it is mandatory to visit the reporting center if you have been alloted any seat in college. Now there are options for you to choose. 1. Freeze- take admission in the college you have been alloted and your seat will be booked and no further alottments will be done 2. Float- this option enables the student to go for further rounds and continue the counselling 3. Slide- This option enable the student to get a seat in the same college been allotted with a different course in the next round. After 1st round and document verification wait for the alottments. Freeze the alottment which satisfies you. And then we can directly go to the college on the allotted date for the admission process. I got admission in Spa Vijayawada through the same process

They provide us the basic and high level knowledge to know the structure of each and everything required.
