I applied for school of Planning And Architecture, Delhi, school of Planning And Architecture Vijaywada and school of Planning And Architecture, Bhopal. I didn't get Delhi because of my cutoff in josaa counselling. But at the same time school of Planning And Architecture, Vijaywada is nearer to my home. Fees has to be paid online. I tried for architecture but i didn't secure much marks. So now with a planning background, I'll pursue bachelor's in spa Vijayawada and after this I'll go for civils. This college is ranked at 7 at nirf ranking and is a pretty good government college with lot of facilities and one can join this college only if they have 99+ percentile unless ur from the reserved category and the addmission is only through jossa and csab , the cutoff's are very High...Read More

The exams that you have to write to study the B.Arch course is NATA and JEE Paper 2 [B.Arch]. NATA exam is mainly for private colleges and not national level government colleges whereas JEE is for all the central government college. I've applied to various other colleges like SPA Delhi, SPA Bhopal, NIT Nagpur etc, but I chose SPA Vijayawada because of the comprehensive curriculum and the infrastructure and the proximity of the college as it is located in the heart of the city unlike other colleges. The hostels facilities are good and it is inside the campus and only 5 minutes from the studios. To get into SPA Vijayawada you must qualify the JEE B.Arch course and get a good rank. SPAV has many facilities and funds that have been given for the student learning and welfare must be spent in a wiser way. There is little power to the students for student affairs and culturals as there is no student counsel.
