the open air theatre in our NIT ia the best.it feelks like a big auditorium when 2000 students gather there in an event
The Siemen's center design is an art piece of absolutely beautiful architechture
THe NIT lake and walking trials are very beutiful

Dislikes

The hostel desings of 1st years can be better a bit although they are very good
the chemistry department rooms should be reconstructed
their should be a big temple in our campus

i chose this course BTech in Computer Engg. as my profession after seeing the placement ratio in the course and i was also interested in programming .Besides it is currently the best option for engineering and i earned it using my hardwork

Brother It is an NIT, nations top engineering college . In north india it is the nearly the 2nd best after MNNIT allahabad. In college placements are good , CSE avg package is 22 lakhs per annum and median is around 20

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike in our college in not much , as a fresher i dont know much but yes our college provides scholarship, all the major scholarship programmes are notified on the college website. The mess fees is about 30000 per semester

Campus Life

campus is quite good and around 300 acres . one gate also opens towards the Kurukshetra university. every year Geeta Jayanti Festyival takes place at the neartby Bramhasarovar. Cultural fest, Confluence is very exciting

Hostel Facilities

BEing 1st year student there are 4 hostels for boys and the room is generally shared by 3 students and it is a lucky draw to get the hostel. I m from Abhimanyu BHawan H1 hostel . There are 3 LAN ports with very good internet speed

Hostel Fee: INR 99000 per year

Admission

i got admission into NiT kurukshtera 2023 through josaa selection process. My JEE mains AIR = 7512 and JEE ADV AIR = 6916. My hhome state was Haryana so got the benefit of HS reservation and else no category reservation . Process of application is through josaa process . In my preferenece list i placed IIT Kanpur Mech Eng. at top but can not get it.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
