- Infrastructure - The campus is equipped with modern infrastructure, including really good labs and libraries.
- Extracurricular Activities and Events - University encourages and provides opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities. Fests organized by DTU are one of the best in north India.
Dislikes
- Competition - Highly competitive due to its reputation, which might be stressful for some students.

Course Curriculum Overview
I am really interested in computers and software field in general, that's why I chose this course and also the placements are really good in this college. The student to faculty ratio is fine. There is one teacher for every 60 students. Teachers are highly qualified, most of them have done PhDs in their respective fields. Exams were very timely and it is not that difficult to pass the exam if you have good attendance and completed the assignments because 60% marks are of internals in most subjects.
Internships Opportunities
DTU provides internship opportunites for students after 4th semester. The average Stipend was 50k-60k INR this year for the tech branches. The companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte etc. offers internships. PPO conversion rate is fine. You should have atleast 1 major project to get good internship. The projects are mainly based on coding new features, debugging, improving algorithms and improving user interfaces. You should have good grasp on DSA to clear coding rounds and your core subjects
Placement Experience
The placement of dtu is really good in dtu. The student becomes eligible for campus placements after 6th semester and for the interships after 4th semester. More than 325+ companies have visited the campus this year and there were more that 2050 offers made. 1900+ students were placed this year. Highest domestic package was 82.05 lakhs offered by Atlassian. Companies like amazon, microsoft, deloitte, yes bank, hcl etc. visited the campus this year. More than 95% students who have opted for placements were placed this year. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue a career in the field of software development.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year there is a 10000 rupees increment in the total fees. The total cost of study excluding the travelling and other charges is around 10 lakhs. There are many scholarships available for the assistance of students. You can apply to delhi government portal for the scholarship assistance, DTU has its own scholarships too.
Campus Life
Engifest is the annual fest of DTU one of the biggest cultural fest in northern India, it is usually conducted in the month of February and the tech fest of DTU is invictus and it is conducted in the month of February. Availability of books and journals is really good in the library, around all the course as well as extra books are available. The library is really huge and good seating place. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards and benches are also fine.Around all the sports is available on the campus and we have full size cricket ground as well as 800m athletic track. The sports facility is really good. Student can join societies if they want to participate in extra curricular activities. There are many instagram pages related to dtu, one of the website fresources.tech is developed by dtu students which provides all the resources for exams.
Admission
The admission process was smooth. To be eligible for this course you have to give JEE entrance exam. The application fees for JEE exam was Rs. 1000. The cutoff for software engineering was around 18k for general male in the year 2023 for more detailed round by round cutoff you can refer to the official website of jacdelhi. To get admission in DTU you have to apply for admission through jacdelhi which is conducted after jee advanced result. The application fees for the jacdelhi was Rs. 1500.
