Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to be an electronics engineer, so i opted for this course where the curriculum was quite friendly to me as well as easy. The curriculum is taughg in college with number of professors Professors teaching method is quite friendly, which makes me easy to understand things 2 exams are conducted by college which are unit tests, after completion if 2 units

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportuanities are given by college, but majorly students look for intership off campus, which they can do anytime during there holidays and semester breaks Intership oppourtuanities are comparitively less in college compared to placement

Placement Experience

PICT is quite known for its placement opportuanities, for which every student is looking for during engineering As well as PICT has the highesr percentage of students getting placements with an average of 600000

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite acceptable, as it is common for all colleges under SPPU University Scholarships are given by college, but i haven't availed any. There ks no as such fess hike in the structure, and if any hike will be done, it would be done through university

Campus Life

Life at campus is quite acceptable, fests are conducted in every even semester, which makes it a lot of fun, Whereas in odd semesters we have technological events The library provides every book receommened in curriculum as well as other books for reference There are many groups that are run by students in college like pulzion, TedxTalk, InC, etc

Admission

Basically, I am a Direct Second Year Admission, i have completed my diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engg from Government Polytechnic, Pune. So Eligibility for course was based upon the final year percentage. Application forms where hosted centrally for all DSE Students from where we entered our preferences for colleges and waited for the CAP Rounds. I got admission in the First Round itself. The staff helps a lot in admission process starting from printing the forms till printing ID Cards

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
