Very Strict for first year students, college timings are more
There are no holidays accept weekend. we didn't got holidays after exam aslo ..the next day exam is starting of our next semester
Submissions are very strictly carried and monitored

I choose this course because I have keen interest in this.Also I am willing to learn core domain things with IT technology so that I can correlate how things work how communication works Also this course has technical subjects like database management and programming languages and obviously core subjects like microcontroller and all electronic circuits

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 117000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For reserved categories there is much conseation according to respective categories minimum for ST is 3000 and SC is 5000, VJ -13000 this increases according to cast . There is also TFWS scheme which cost 50k for top percentile students

Campus Life

Annual fest in Pict is Addiction which is biggest fest for us Monthly basis different clubs have their fests and competitions in which everyone can participate Lot of books in library and everyday newspaper like Hindustan Times ,The Indian express,also Marathi Punya Nagari etc For those are interested in sports everything is available.tenis courte is available where teachers also plays with students Many coding competitions are held every week Tedx talks also happens

Admission

I was appeared for CET exam . Through my CET score I was eligible for the college Cutoff of my cast ie. VJ was 90 percentile We can fill form on state common entrance test cell official website .it was east process but u need to stay updated all time u have check notifications from official website

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement eligibility starts from the 7th semester. Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
