- Faculties are mostly rude or very professional that they tend to scold for no such matter and they also give very less marks even if your answer is correct
- Crowd is not very great. Like due to reservation. Many troublesoom students also get the admission in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as DTU is a very big brand name and mechanical is one of the best courses in DTU. Also i can work on my skills in the meantime. Faculty and Student Ratio is about 1:70 and faculty are very qualified. After every 2 months we have a term examination and they are not very difficult to pass. Moderate preparation and PYQs helps a lot
Internships Opportunities
Internshala, Google, Amazon, EY, Uniqlo visit the campua for placement and internships. You have to make projects and give interviews for the interships. You have to score minimum 8.7 CGPA for getting an internship or if you are highly skilled.
Placement Experience
Students can become eligible after 3rd Year for placements and can apply for them. Around 850 companies visit the campus and 2300 offers are given to the students. Highest Package is 1.12 crore and average package is 15 lakhs. Around 85 percent students get placed in college. After getting placement i would probably work for 2 or 3 years and then apply for MBA in other countries.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees Structure is average depending on the Campus Size and Opportunities. Fees hike should be minimum as most students are not able to pay such amount of fees. But DTU has different scholarship programmes with government tie ups that can benefit if you are under EWS section
Campus Life
ENGIFEST- annual fest of DTU. One of the biggest and best fest in town and it is in the month of february for 3 or 4 days. Books are available in library always unless there is an exam time going on. You have to issue them at the starting of semester. Classrooms have AC, Smartboards , Projectors, All side Ventilation system, Charging Ports. DTU has every kind of sport be it kabaddi, badminton, football, cricket etc. You can even join archery in dtu. There are various clubs or societies in dtu for your interests and skills. Also we have our tech teams where you can build a car from scratch.
Admission
You have to give the JEE MAINS examination for admission in DTU and score atleast 97 or 98 percentile for tech branches and 93 percentile for Core Branches if you are from delhi region. You can find the application form on jee mains site when it is available and can register there. Reservation benefits helps a lot in getting top branches if you have any certificate. Atleast 80 percent delhi reservation is there.
