Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have chosen this course bcz it has more common subject with computer science and education. The ratio of student and faculty is 1: 10. Which is nice. All teacher have done PhD. Some gas done post - doc too. Literally all faculty members are very good. Exam occurs twice per semester. First mid- term after 1.5 months and then end sem .passing the exam is not easy for half of the class.

Internships Opportunities

4

People from 3rd semester are doing internship at top giant companies like Google, Microsoft etc. Morgan Stanley is also hiring people from Btech batch. HSBC , Accenture, Byjus, PW, Mainly people get hired in management and ax developer.

From 7th semester you are able to sit in campus placement.. people are doing internships from 5 th sem. 55.5 percentage student. Are placed in corporate sector. 10 percent people get job is government sector. 33 lacks was highest package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is like the other NITs. 62500 per semester. Which is constant since 2018. If annual income of parents is less than 1 lakh. You have to pay zero as your fee. If family income is less than 5 lakhs then you pay to 1/3 of the total fee. Which is decent. Here, education is affordable. Internship is improving .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
