Likes

Faculty is really cooperative and good and helpful.
Canteen is something that I didn’t expect to be this good inspite of being a government college.
Location is very good if you feel good you have market, lake, etc.

Dislikes

Student union I feel they are very irritating.
I think the basketball court should be maintained properly.
As I am from Assam I don’t feel discriminated but I feel that the crowd is less welcoming.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because i was interested in commerce. My faculty has 40-50 professors. Everyone have either completed their phd on their preferred field or they are currently pursuing. I will be appearing my 1st sem on February.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is pretty decent it's 3500-4500 per semester. There are scholarship opportunities, internships opportunities but I have not applied for any yet. So, the cost is very minimal and affordable even without any scholarship.

Campus Life

I am new so I don't have much ideas about fests and etc. there are two library and they have good collection. There are a lot of sports and other extra curricular activities going on here and there. Fashion club.

Admission

Admission was based on merit score. Every detail related to admission is mentioned in college website. I didn't opt for reservation so no idea. The process is very simple so i think there is no requirement of making any changes.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. A few companies like TCS visit our college every year. The average package offered is around 100000 PA I want to go for higher studies after the degree but I want some real life work experience too.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.
