Likes

Teachers are very serious for teaching us.
Faculty is very nice and they support for sports.
There are many placements and package is also good

Dislikes

Campus area is only 15 acres which is not that much.
Sports complex in North campus is not that much great
Gym is very small and not that much exciting.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love coding and this clg provide very good placement opportunities. Here course curriculum is very strict. In a sem you will have 2 cie, 1 sem end, 3 quiz per sub, assignments, practicals. You won't get much free time.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year you will become eligible for internship program. Highest package this year was 62 lakh and last year it was 57 lakh and average package is 11 lakh this year and last year also it is around 10 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the highest package this year is 62 lakh and last year it was 57 lakh. Even it's average package is also 11 lakh which is very good. But if you come from comedk, fees is approximately 4 lakh. And if you come from kcet it will be around 1 lakh only.

Campus Life

There is one freshers and one ethnic day. There is a huge library (both online and offline). They support sports a lot, there are a lot of opportunities in sports . There are many clubs like IEEE, OWASP and there are a lot of fun activities in it like treasure hunt and all.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very nice, you will get ok ok food. It is better than many places, currently I am living in hostel yuvika and here we get breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Hostel cost 110000 per year.you will get dosa, upma, kesri bath, rava idli in breakfast. And every day in a week you will get different things to eat.

Hostel Fee: INR 135000 per year

1st we have an exam called comedk, after getting rank in it we have applied for its counseling. It conduct 3 counseling. If you want to search about comedk, you can visit it's site. To sit in the counseling you have to pay 2000 rs

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
