What Students Say

Likes

The best thing about the college is the faculty.They are very supportive and are always willing to help.
The sports infrastructure is very well maintained.
The teams are very competitive and various sports events are organized throughout the year.

Dislikes

The mess food is a big concern,especially for the people from the north.
The condition of the washrooms at times can be very disturbing for a few people
The location of the North campus.It is very isolated from the main city.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a futuristic course,it has got great prospects. The faculty student ratio is 1:30,which is decent,the management makes it even better The faculties are highly qualified,most if them being phds The term exams are mostly on time,sometimes it may be delayed,which is very rare though

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities which are provided by the college are started from the 5th semester,sometimes even from the 3rd semester for some students and they have a half decent stipend as well which is good enough for college students

Placement Experience

The placements here are fine,not great. The placements start from 5th semester. Internships are also offered. The highest package migh go in the range of 40 lpa and average package might lie somewhere in the range of 8 to 12 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual tuition fees is 264000 and the hostel fees is 125000,The fees are hiked per year by some amount. For karnataka students the fees are relatively low,very low actually which makes it easy for the karnataka students.

Campus Life

Campus life here is pretty decent,not very good,but decent. The annual fest is a bit disappointing. Sports here is highly promoted,lots of sports events are organized and the teams are very competitive. The classroom is well equipped with projectors,good benches and chairs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are average,not good.The taps and flushes are not in order,the urinals are also damaged in some washrooms.The number is good,just the maintenance is the part where it lacks. Food quality is good,mainly for the south indian students,you won't generally get north indian food.

For non karnataka students : They have to write the COMEDK exam For karnataka students : They have to write the KCET exam The application forms is available at the respective websites The admission process can be a bit more smooth if the details of the documents required is sent to the students beforehand

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
