Course Curriculum Overview

Since AI is an emerging field, it used to fascinate me so I joined this course. The faculty is very supportive if you have any doubt all the faculties are open to doubt. The method of teaching is very good, here the college also provides us with certain certification courses. If you're attentive in class, you can easily pass the exams.

Placement Experience

Students can apply for internships from the first year itself and placements start from 7th semester. Overall placement scenario is very good here. A huge number of students are being placed every year. The average CTC of the college is also good.

Fees and Financial Aid

I would say the fee is a bit high but the college provides us various internship and placement opportunities, so it's worth it. The annual fee is about 2.73 lakh for the session 2023-24. The hostel and transportation fee combined is 125000 for 1 year.

Campus Life

Here various clubs organize various fun and tech events. Here the seniors are like both friends and teachers, they are very helpful. The library has a huge variety and quantities of books. Even they have a special section for books related to new and emerging tech. Various sports events are also conducted regularly.

Hostel Facilities

Honestly speaking, north Indians will have a little problem with the food. The food is good once you get adjusted to it. Hostel have good facilities like hot water is available 24X7 and WIFI is being provided.

Admission

I got admission through Comedk quota, admission was a smooth process, and the annual fee is about 2.7 lakh for the 2023-24 session. People who are willing to be admitted here can give Comedk or Kcet exam then, they can get into this college in the counseling if their rank is good.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
