Likes

Campus was beautiful and it was overall good.
Hostels are fine too and nearby places are fine to visit
Teachers are very good and supportive and support anytime you need

Dislikes

The food quality at hostel is not quite good.
The campus is situated near industrial area so no shops nearby.
The north campus is quite small so less place to roam.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love coding that's why I chose CSE. Faculty is good and knowledgeable and the ratio is good too. Many teachers are PhD qualified and some are still in the process to qualify. There is two tests test 1 and test 2 before sem end and the exams are quite easy.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies give internships like Wipro,z scalar, and lot more. Stipend is nearly 20k- 50k / month and the experience gained is very crucial for placements. They even also give PPO of they like the candidate.

Placement Experience

From 4rth sem every student are eligible for placements and many have got 20+ lpa in end of 4rth sem. Percentage is 95 as some get in foreign for higher studies. I'm planning to get a good placement and further developing my skills to do something more

Fees and Financial Aid

If you come through Comedk quota the fees is quite high and increases every year.But there are lot of scholarship accepted by college and it is worth it to study here. The placements are good so the ROI is good

Campus Life

Annual fest is quite good. But there is only one fest yearly. Library is full of books which you can get anytime and they also have online eBooks library. Sport activities happen regularly around the year. Clubs are very good and are conducting different club activities all around the time of year

Hostel Facilities

3 bed 3 cupboard 3 shelf 3 table 3 chair for 3 sharing rooms and there is only triple sharing rooms available. Menu is not quite good and food quality is also not good. PG's are available near the college and are quite good

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

I got in through Comedk general quota. Every year the application form is released which you have to fill. The application form is around 1800. Nie is at top 5 so the cuttoff are quite high. Application starts around April.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
