Course Curriculum Overview

I opted Ci (computer science and engineering AIML). Why did i chose this course?? I chose this course because AI is the future . There is a lot of scope in it. Talking about the facilities. The teachers overall are nice with some exceptions. Many of them have doctorates. The exams are conducted as per the schedule with a little to no scope of postponement

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement are pretty nice here. This years average package was around 13Lakhs. The students are eligible for internships from the 5th semester. More than 400 companies visited the college. The placement Percent for computer related branches are 100 Percent. The highest package was 53Lpa this year

Fees and Financial Aid

This years tuition fee was 2,80,000 per annum. According to the comedk website there can be a hike of 7-10 percent in fees every year. Talking about scholarships. The college provides some scholarship but they are for the kcet students not for the students from comedk

Campus Life

The fests.... That's a sad story . The fest of my college is very bad. With the ethnic day being the only exception. Talking about the campus, there are all the necessary books in the library, classrooms are clean and have fans and projectors, but the college life overall is boring and only consists of classes. there are alot of clubs like gdsc owasp ieee etc

Admission

You need to give the comedk exam and score good enough marks to get you a rank of around 5k. The admission process at the college was swift. You are required to produce a set of documents which are given on the comedk website. Take 5 photocopies of each to avoid any further hassel

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
