Facilities, friends, curriculum, course.

Hostel was extremely bad, fees is way too high.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to learn about marketing and with Human Resources, I can learn about managing a team. Most of the facilities have doctorate degrees. No shortage of faculty is there for students. The term exams are regular and relatively easy to pass if you attend the classes regularly.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 970000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies came for internships and with stipend internship companies took interviews. Jobs like sales intern mostly. After the internship, we had to make a Summer Internship Project and Master Thesis Research Report. Internship drive/Mela is organized where many companies come.

Placement Experience

After 2 semesters students have to internship and at the beginning of the third semester, students are given opportunities for placement. Many companies came to college with decent packages even when jobs were not available outside almost like a recession. Many students got placed. But at the end of 4th semester, they let companies in without checking to get as many students placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees get hiked every batch. The cost to study is relatively high but they're providing facilities, they can improve a little. I didn't take any scholarship program or other financial assistance but it is available. No job on campus is there with a stipend. The hostel is extremely costly and not good.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called 'Parichay' for newcomers and annually they take students abroad with fees, event name is 'Cranium'. The library is good with workout and study facilities also digital library is there.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was average, the food was abysmal, the room was decent for 2 people but the fees were extremely high and only the water geyser was given nothing else, a big hotel room is cheaper than that hostel. Laos bus facility was provided for college. The hostel was in BTM, about 10 km away from the college.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

They have an entrance exam (JET). JET: Written, G.D., P.I., Presentation. You can find the application form on their official website. Application fees currently are around 1200000. With reservation certificates, you can get fee benefits.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester the students become eligible for the placement . The college offer a range of companies which visit them from. Start-up to well known including few MNCs , the most recent one were Goldman Sachs, EY etc The highest placement offered by the college so far is 68lpa and generally the average is 6-8 lacks.. The percentage of students getting placed is really good . Plans after the course will be to join a good company

Good College but little pricey.

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd semester are eligible for placements. Family Business students are not eligible for placements. Companies like the big4, Zomato,zepto,CBRE, etc have come for hiring. The average package informed by the college is 8.5L. Top 100 students have avg package of 11L. I plan on getting placed.

An in depth review of Jain Centre for Management studies-A student’s perspective

I chose this college because of the city life and also the placements this college holds. I did try for Christ university and even got selected for the Lavasa campus but got rejected for the central and Yashwentpur campus and honestly I didn't even wanna join the Christ university because I can't take too stress on me just for a tag instead I would choose a college which would allow me to take some decision of my own and work accordingly The admission procedure of my college is simple they would take your interview via zoom or any other app online and would question you about your academics including your 11th basics and then normally they would ask you about your hobbies and other stuff.
