There was a perfect blend of gender in the college
60 per class. So students can get individual attention.
Limited strength of 180. Not much crowded

Course Curriculum Overview

I actually wanted to gain knowledge in the field of finance. So I choose this course. Course curriculum was bit out dated but faculties used innovative methods to make it understandable. Every 2 months, internals were conducted and in next 2 months sem exams were conducted

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offered internship to the students. Flipkart, KPMG, Estern and Young (EY) and many other companies. Stipend will be around 25k to 30k per month. Student can find internship for themselves and request permission from college for the internship

Placement Experience

Placements are good in this college compared to other colleges. During 2nd semester itself, students are eligible for their placements. All the details of placement is available in the college official website.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees for 2 years was around 3.80 lakhs through PGCET. It includes all the fees except exam fees. The PGCET cut off for RVIM was very high and even now it's very high. It's difficult to get seat in the college.

Campus Life

Students can participate for fests conducted by other colleges. But RVIM conduct fests rarely. Library has wide range of books. College offers recorded class to the students. They will provide Coursera credentials for 1 year to complete online courses whichever they want

Admission

Intake in the college is low compared to other colleges. It's just 180. Placements are good compared to other colleges. We can get into college through Karnataka PGCET, CAT, MAT, CMAT and other national level MBA entrance exams

Faculty

1:10 faculty to student ratio. Student can have interaction with the faculties even after the class. All the faculties were good with their subject knowledge. It's bit difficult to clear the exams compared to university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is very much relevant to today's corporate world. the curriculum is set by our faculties itself and is very much related to the current requirements of the corporate we have both theoretical and practical teaching happening alternatively which helps us to understamd the comcepts easily the frequency of the examination is at the correct level like we have only one midterm exam and then we have 1 month gap for our trimester exams.

My MBA journey through CMR Institute of Technology

Placement Experience:

In 3rd semester is when you will be eligible for placements or internships. Therr are different companies that take initiative to come for hiring and for MBA the highest pacage was 9LPA which keeps increasing every year and the college also put alot of effort to make sure all the students gets placements. And the average package is 6 to 7 LPA and there are alomst 75% of students who get placements on how well you perform and they will also give you various training tha are given to every student which helps then in interviews and to get placed and ther is TYL program which is Tie you laces that comes with aptitude and verbal training which is important for and placements or job. And my plan is to get a good job in the most reputable company

Brief and honest Explanation about GIBS

Placement Experience:

I am not sure about the other colleges, but this college provides their help in internship also, they offer so many internship offers also, companies like Flipkart ,Aditya Birla,Kpmg,Itc,Zomato,Tatasteel,Britannia,Bajal Allianz and for placements Ivy homes,cafe coffee day, L&T,Urban Company,Wipro Mahindra finance etc

Placement Experience:

Placement is pretty decent with an average of nearly 15 lakh per annum CTC, and it's an increase of 10 percent over last year. The highest package was 24 lakhs and the median of around 15 lakhs. Of course, ROI is always a question mark but brand SIBM helps in overcoming it.

In RCMB 100% placement, even you can say more than 100% placement as maximum students are getting 2-3 offer letters. Average package was 6-8.5 Lpa around in 2018 and the highest package was 22 Lpa. 100 companies visited and 300 jobs offered for 120 students for marketing, financial analytics, Business Analytics, Quality manager and purchase officer, management trainee, HR, Store Manager, Sales trainee, Investment Manager, Investment Banker, Asst.
