Student's Honest Review (SHR)

For admission to RV institute of management, there are 2 types: 1. Government seat - By writing the PGCET exam & you should score good marks I got 54 out of 100 marks & got 371 ranks. After the KEA documents verification, we may get the college based on our ranks. 2. CAT MAT CMAT by writing any of these exams you can get the college after the results the college will conduct the interview 1st round is Group discussion & 2nd round is Personal interview. Like this, we may get admission to RVIM.

MBA in finance is the highest scope in today's world so I chose this course in this college. The faculty & students ratios are 1:10 so for every 10 students there is 1 faculty who take care of us in every way who monitors us very well. Almost all faculty members made a Ph.D. and every faculty in our college finished their post-graduation courses The teaching methods are very good they will share the PPT of what they taught & give assignments & review them. For a sem, they will be 1 preparatory exam & final exam in the class they will conduct some small test internals.

Morgan Stanley offered an internship with a stipend of 35000 salary. Asian paints offer an internship the role is sales trainee. Wells Fargo offered an internship with the role is process analyst. They will provide more projects so that will understand the real-time problems & solutions to how to face them & solve them by applying those skills.

From the 1sem only the companies offer an internship from the 3rd sem onwards we can be placed by the companies. They are 30-35 companies visited every year. Morgan Stanley, EY, PWC, KPMG, HDFC, Asian paints, Flipkart, TCS. And many more: The highest package is 12 LPA The average package is 5 LPA. 160 students getting placed every year that is almost 92%.

For the PGCET candidate it cost around 1.5 lakhs per year for 2yrs it will be 3 lakhs. For management quota, it cost 3 lakhs per year & 6lakhs for 2years. Scholarship only govt will provide there is no scholarship from college side. I placed in PWC for a tax role package is 5.9 LPA.

Venture fest is a tech-fest which is conducted among the students for exploring their new ideas among them They will also conduct a women's day, MAD ads, role play fest. There is a lot of books available in the college library & also a journal we can get the online library also through imparting our app. Sports we can play table tennis it's inside the campus apart from that we can play cricket badminton hockey football all the elements equipment for the sports is available in the sports room. RV incubation center is there for students.

Topics for GD they were asked are- 1. Online education 2. Employment opportunities in India For the personal interview, they will ask: 1. Introduce yourself, 2. Y MBA, 3. Example of Current asset & Current liabilities, 4. 5 years of your goal. I prepared for these rounds by watching some YouTube videos & asking some of RVIM college seniors.
