Located near Chandigarh and Delhi which are 2 major cities of india
campus is also good looking and green and neat and clean
placement offers in NIT Kurukshetra is very good

Dislikes

Hostel are very poor and there are very fewer facilities
Not much developed area so hard to explore things
some rules and regulations sometimes stops us in having fun

There are 6 subjects.58:12 ratio of boys and girls faculty so some of the Ph.D. students are far better. Most of them are Ph.D. holders every month there is mid sem and at the end, there is the end sem. it took one night of study to pass them.

Almost all companies like Microsoft come for placements and seniors said that there is improvement in placement from previous years and placement is increasing exponentially. The internship opportunity is also beet from the 7th sem.

placement is very good in the computer engineering branch and IT branch. There are internship opportunities also. almost 90% of students from cs/it secured jobs in colleges. After my degree, I want to start my own company.

Fees and Financial Aid

there is a full fee waiver for sc/st students and from general/obc the students who have income less than 1,00,000 also have a few waivers of 100% then who have less than 5 lakh have a fee waiver of 2/3rd fees.

Campus Life

there is a cultural fest of 4 days named Confluence and it was conducted recently in October. There is a Technical fest named technobyte. There are almost all kinds of books in the library. there are also various sports-related activities. Sports culture is very good. there are many clubs and societies in college for almost every field.

Admission

Through josaa counseling. I am from the general category. I found forms from the official website of NIT Kurukshetra. They send a date for students on which they have to come for physical registration. then they do many checkings.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
