Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because it has a wide range of opportunities for the future and the faculty members are enough to control the overall student in the campus. Most of the faculty members are with a PHD so they are well equipped to teach and clear the doubts of the students. Exams will be conducted each month for the internal marks and the end semester will be conducted, To pass the exams you should listen to the classes and it will help you to understand the concepts.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like Accenture and Byju's and more companies offer internships to the students and the average stipend will be 4000. the work will be HRM of data entry, and Accounting, they will train you and you will be assigned a project.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students will be eligible for placements from their 5th semester, the college has tie-ups with MNCs like Detloit, PWC, Wipro, etc. which will come for on-campus placements. the highest package was 40lakh and the average package will be 6lakh Almost 95 percent of the students will get placed. My plan after my degree is to get a CPA license.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is 220000, The college has a liquid loan policy with 0 interest and 0 interest rates, The college also provides scholarships to the students who got 85 % in the 12th board exams, I got a 12000 scholarship will be deducted from the course fees. the college also provides various internships with stipends.

Campus Life

5

At Jain University they often conduct fest inside the university as well as open college fests. The main fest for the university is Anveshna Fest will will be conducted at the start of the academic year. It has a library which has enough books, new letters, etc. to load your mind. the college has many extra activities, it will be conducted in groups or forums, they give importance to sports persons and offer scholarships to them. the college often does social awareness activities through the NSS team of Jain University.

Hostel Facilities

3

In the classroom, you will be provided with a projector with screens, a green board, a podium with a mic and speakers, etc. The quality of the canteen if ok and the registration process for a hostel is simple and it's expensive, i don't recommend taking it, you can find many shops, a mall, and PG near the college its very cheap you can get a pg for around 10000 per month with food.

Admission

Eligibility to get placed is to have 85percent in the 12th exams, you should clear the Jain entrance examination, next if you clear the entrance examination college will invite you to attend the personal interview and you will get placed in the Jain University. You can find the application form on the official website of Jain University and the application fees will be around 600-1000, The admission management will guide you through the application process.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
