What Students Say

Likes

The attendance is flexible, If you give a good enough reason they will provide you attendance.
There are lots of hackathons where you can Collab with others and socialize.
It's located in a great location which is at hebbal.

Dislikes

The college mess is quite lacking when it comes to food.
The campus is quite small and the hostel room is also small as well.
The placements are very lacking and there aren't a lot of internships as well.

I chose this course since I was interested in coding and mathematics. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:15. The faculty is qualified enough. The exams are conducted a bit too quickly and it is easy enough to pass If you study well.

There are very few companies that come for internships and some of them are gene technologies, cranes varsity, etc. are some of the companies that come for internships. They picked up the winners of the hackathon for internship.

4th year students are eligible for placements. This year very few companies have come and the average package is around 3 lakhs per annum. The highest package is 22 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students placed is around 40%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are at par for a Bangalore college. There are a few scholarships for underprivileged girls to study in this college. The companies that come to campus are mostly mass recruiters. The internship scene isn't that good you have to find one yourself.

Campus Life

We have hackathons like cryptic, cipher, etc. that are conducted once in a while. There are cultural events that happen during festival days. The books here are good enough to help you through exams, we have table tennis, volleyball basketball, football, chess, cricket, etc. to play. We have Rotaract, i.e, Sports, coding, and other clubs that are active.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is a bit too small for my liking. The mess is a mixed bag, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. It's pretty easy to register you just have to pay the fees and occupy your room allot the hosted to you.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

I got admission to this college through comedk. After participating in comedk counseling I got this college. There is no reservation in comedk apart from the HK region reservation. It would be better if the deadlines for the admission process were more flexible.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

I applied to acharya college and ramai college also but I got confirmed addmission for in this college . and I choose this colege because of my comedK rank . only this is the top college I was getting by that rank. yes I get rejection from other college that i applid to because my comedk rank is not sufficient to take admission in that college . there is the three process to take the admission in my colllege i) comedk - in my time the cutoff is 32k for Computer science and enginnering ii) Kcet- I am not sure about kcut cutoff but nearly 40-50k for this college iii) management quota - there is no cutoff for management quota , only you have to show your money power and get admission in my college my overall admission experience is normal...Read More

Life at Atria

Actually I didn't get the other colleges because in the councellling i got this college. But I'm fine with it. Comparing it with other colleges can be done on the bases of fees structure, Curriculum, campus size. our campus size is approximately 17.5 acres, where other colleges follow VTU syllabus, here we have our own syllabus because our batch is the the first batch that is autonomous.
